It was both teams that failed. Houston didn't want to play in Arlington as well. Well I should say that the front office didn't. The players wanted to.
 
The Twins gang raped the Padres tonight, 16-0 and set a record doing it. The most innings in a row to hit a home run to start a game was five. The Twins hit a homer in each of the first seven innings tonight.

All in all, it was good move for the Rangers not to swap series with the Astros. I wouldn't want the season ticket holders to miss this.

Went from losing 103 games last year to at least the WC game this year. Even if they lose that, pretty damn good season.
 
The Red Sox limped to the finish line but at least they won the division, I guess.

How's this for a surprising stat?

This is the first time in team history that they won the AL East in consecutive seasons.
