The lesson learned is it doesnt pay off to go crazy in the homerun derby.

The Rangers have announced a new promotion coming up. They are going to give away miniature on deck circles.

Probably the best promotion I've seen yet.

Astros are scuffling, but it was nice for the Rangers to honor Astros HOF great, Pudge Rodriguez.

Huge win tonight.

Should've been a sweep, but I'll gladly take the series win.

Sox getting hot at the right time of the year.

You ready? Both of our teams still have a chance to get in the playoffs and both have the most games left (17) against teams that are 10 or more games under .500. The last month should be at least interesting considering we have both been disgruntled with our teams at one time this season.

Eh. Our pitching is still too suspect. I'd really be surprised if we don't fade quietly away.

Can you let the team know. Just one less team to jump for us.

Byron Buxton finally looking like the player he was projected to be. Been batting around .340 since the allstar break. Was 3-4 tonight. Inside the park HR, triple, and a double. Just missed hitting for the cycle. Hit a sharp line drive over 2nd base in his last at bat, but right into the shift.

Both will grow, but happy to have Rosario and Smith up. Smith looks so comfortable at the plate...he is going to be a consistent .280-.320 hitter.

Let me have it. It is all I have right now.

Jorge Polanco, the Twins SS had 3 HR on the season. Until 4 days ago... Now he has hit one in 4 straight games.

Might be time to test that MFer. :lol

Byron Buxton still raking. 4-5 last night with 3 HRs and 5 RBIs.

:towel

If Deuce goes to Tropicana and roots for the Astros, he gets to contribute to disaster relief AND pull against the Rangers.

Win-win.
