100% chance that Jimmy wanted out because Jerry is a grade A cunt who was feeling he wasn't getting enough credit for being the "football man" he always had wet dreams about being.

I'd bet the farm if Jerry had kept his cunt mouth shut and sit up in his sky box like a good little owner should who knows jack shit about NFL football, Jimmy would have been a lot happier.
Never mind the fact that Jimmy had never stayed any place for very long.

But, GRRRRR. Jerry.

Yeah, Jerry has a million and one warts. You are exactly the kind of guy Jimmy counted on to come out of this situation smelling like a rose, while pocketing a fat stack of cash. Jimmy the Martyr thanks you.

Even after all these years and Jimmy himself admitting that he orchestrated his leaving Dallas, smooth brains such as yourself still buy it. :lol

They both have mentioned that they orchestrated it. Jimmy was going to leave, yes. I just dont necessarily buy that it was that year. If only Jerry didnt walk to that table or if Jimmy welcomed him.

So the uncertainty at head coach over the past 30+ years isn’t Jerry’s fault. Got it.

Yep. They're both at fault. They were on the verge of history, and yet managed to fuck it up.

Yea that's why I always felt like he'd be back unless Seattle opened up. I don't think he'll have a whole lot of success there though unless they fall into a QB, might make it 4-5 years based on the relationships and having competitive teams but I doubt he wins big there.
If he finds the right offensive coordinator I could see some Dan Campbell level success.

Yep, I'm pretty sure Jimmy said in his book that he planned on staying another year.

Never said anything even remotely close to that.

But ok. Go with it.
The conversation was being frustrated with Jerry’s actions with HCs. You turned it into “Jimmy was a jerk too. Grrr”

I agree they are clearly both to blame. The one place I disagree with you on is that Jerry running his mouth is the reason Jimmy came out smelling like a rose.

But he could be and nobody will know until he gets the chance.

I prefer Whitt right now but what if Quinn takes Whitt?
It will come down to if the Joneses and McCarthy value him.

I am pretty sure that they will. The dude spent a decade (that is like a whole Garrett era of ruin) with McCarthy.

Yeah, I'm 90% sure it'll be Whitt. I doubt it's even much of a debate.

Who knows how good he'll be, but he does seem like he's ready in his interviews.

No...no he wouldn't.

This shocks me. I usually agree with most of your opinions, but OMG.
Happens, he wouldn't be a top choice for me at all, but if Whitt leaves we'd kind of be up against it and pretty much have to go external in my opinion.

Yeah, but that fucking guy?

He basically was worse than Campo with more talent.

I commented about something that was said. And nothing I said was incorrect. I didn't make anything up. But somebody did...

If we can't get someone like Frazier I'd roll the dice on him, he was really good his one year as a DC, Fangio disciple, did a good job as a position coach. It's a dice roll to get to 2025 when guys like Eberflus and such will shake out.

Someone mentioned to me that Whitt is expected to follow Quinn to Seattle. Not sure where he heard it or how true it is, but apparently that notion is out there.

There are probably 50 NFL defensive position coaches or college coaches that would make a great DC that know one knows who they are.

It is up to managment to not be lazy and work hard to find one of them. You don't have to recycle the same motherfuckers over and over again.

We don't have to let Whitt go unless his contract is up.
