Thanks for posting...watching it now.
Watched this yesterday… brought back that old NFC East defensive battle vibe. This was the game where we took over and never looked back. Seasoned throughout with intermittent gamebreaks featuring the 1-6 Cardinals upsetting the then 6-1 49ers.
Highly recommend
but the title says 1992I always thought Eddie Murray was money, but he just missed a FG.
I just realized that.but the title says 1992
Send me an address.Just smother me with a pillow in the middle of the night and end it for me, Chief.
1:06:35 of that game.... What a play by KMart.
As an aside, not having the score always on screen in these old videos is irritating. I don't know how we put up with it for so long.
The old man in me says we just asked somebody what the score was. But yes, it is weird now. The whole first half was practically scoreless and damn if you could tell what the fuck was going on.As an aside, not having the score always on screen in these old videos is irritating. Madden called it when he said both teams were playing not to lose. Fricking Lin Elliott was such a weak spot missing all those field goals and what was thankfully not a key extra point in the NFCC. Back to this game, a 9-0 lead would have been huge. The old man in me says we just asked somebody what the score was. But yes, it is weird now. Best vision I have ever seen.
They couldn't make Sherman Williams into dog poo.People who say the line made him always make me think either they are biased and want to discredit him or they never actually watched him.
Or Derrick Lassic. They couldn't make Sherman Williams into dog poo.
It's funny, he didn't knock people over, he doesn't look fast or elusive. But man his vision, balance and the way he sets up defenders to never take a big shot is just insanely unique and good.People who say the line made him always make me think either they are biased and want to discredit him or they never actually watched him.
He was incredible and made his own yards a LOT.
Yep, he'll always be underappreciated by those who didn't see him live because his best qualities just don't show up on video. It's funny, he didn't knock people over, he doesn't look fast or elusive.
