I remember that highlight and how the injury was glossed over next to Dixon's catch and run.

That hit was brutal, QB's just don't take those shots these days.

If there's one play in our history I'd like to undo, that's a contender.

How about the fact that game was a loss despite that. I think Johnson took out his anger on Everson Walls. BTW, I thought it was illegal to post losses in this thread.

Watched this yesterday… brought back that old NFC East defensive battle vibe. This was the game where we took over and never looked back. Seasoned throughout with intermittent gamebreaks featuring the 1-6 Cardinals upsetting the then 6-1 49ers.

Highly recommend

This is awesome.

It always makes me laugh when I see Troy taking that straight backpedal dropback like they used to do it.

Also, in just a few minutes of watching, kind of crazy to see a KMart drop, an Irvin drop (!), and an Emmitt fumble. Plus a Novacek drop, but he had a broken finger so I guess he'll get a pass.

But the team was still young then and this was a huge game, so maybe there were some nerves.
