Probably a fit there now.

Ben Johnson going to a team in Jeanty's range was the only scenario where I could see him being gone before 12.

I still think it's a toss-up given how many other needs Chicago has, but ultimately it doesn't really matter. Jeanty is an amazing talent and if he's there at 12 he'd be one of my top choices, if not we can just take a front 7 player to bolster the support around Parsons and take Hampton or Johnson in the 2nd (or Sampson or Judkins in the 3rd).

I said this a few weeks ago, after the Senior Bowl I think he's going to be a top 20 pick and potentially in play for us at 12.
Great player, not sure I'm ready to put him in the top 15 in the draft. Looks like a late first talent to me most years. But in this weak class at the top maybe he is a top 20 talent.

We'll see but after Carter he might have the best combination of explosiveness and ability to bend. Walker is probably more explosive but I don't think he has quite the ability to bend as Green does.

I want to see it at the Senior Bowl, but if he dominates there I think he's firmly in the top 15ish discussion.

I just watched Green against Ohio St. since this title game is pretty boring and I can assure you that he is not just a function of poor competition. I still need to see it at the Senior Bowl to feel like he should be boosted all the way up into the 15-20 range, but I definitely think he should be there with a strong performance.

I really do think he's probably the best pure edge rusher after Carter in the class, Pearce might be in the conversation also. My only issue with him is that you can't start him and Parsons as DE's in a 4-3, in a 3-4 you're golden, but you're giving up too much mass if you're playing them both as 4-3 DE's.

That's the same thing with guys like Walker and Pearce, although Walker has the versatility to mix and match him a little more.

Ultimately it wouldn't stop me from drafting guys like that because you'd just need your DC to have a realistic view of things and not just force guys into positions they shouldn't be in just because they're an awesome edge rusher.

Green's a great player. Athletic and relentless motor. I'd be shocked if he was 6'4 250 tho

Just highlights how devalued RBs are on the market and how stupid we've been to refuse to make the relatively cheap investment into what is a much bigger contribution to your team than the market charges.

I’d take will howard in the fourth if we had one, but he will probably move up boards in a shit qb class

They're projecting him to go in the 5th. I would absolutely throw a 5th at him.

I mean your options are throw a bunch of darts in the fifth (I probably would use one to take my second RB in the draft).

Or package them up and get yourself a fourth round pick.

It's such a weird QB class. Kind of reminds me of that 2022 draft class. You're going to end up with some day three pick (Brock Purdy) being the best of the class. There are guys I like in this draft class at QB but it feels like throwing darts. Will Howard and Kyle McCord (Oddly both Ohio State or former Ohio State QBs) might be the two guys I'd prefer the most. Even over a Sanders, Dart, Milroe or Ewers.

I secretly like Cam Ward though. I think in the right system with the right coaches he could be really good.

I liked McCord when he was at Ohio State, What is the knock on Howard? I think he needs development still but he has a decent arm and good accuracy. Good talent elevates him. I think he and CeeDee could match well.
