That is the way normal and sane organizations are run. We just aren't used to it here, so it's easy to blame Jerry for any hire.

Am I the only one who thinks it's weird that McCarthy had the team win 10+ games in back to back years for the first time in forever, was the first coach to get them to the playoffs in back to back years in forever, won the first road playoff game in forever, did better than anyone expected after that first game when Dak was out for five games... and it's like everyone wants to hold a gun to his head ready (and in many cases eager) to pull the trigger at the first misstep?

I mean, if you want to let your HC succeed, you don't force anything on him. Let him hire his guys ad if he sinks, he sinks. What you can't do is force Moore on him and then almost immediately handicap him by trading away his best offensive player for peanuts.
