I actually really appreciate this.

I think the true key to cutting edge offense as it stands in today's NFL is having a multi-faceted, layered running game that mixes and intertwines both Gap and Zone concepts, with an OL/running game that is completely synced up and precise with its angles and adjustments on the fly. Then you have to build out those concepts into the passing game to where the OL movement when you're running play-action/misdirection passes is indistinguishable from the OL's movement on actual running plays.

You need talent obviously but if you exclude teams that have transcendent QB's (Mahomes and potentially Burrow basically) the vast majority of the best offenses in the league are built off this sort of construct (Eagles last year, Rams, Packers and 49ers over the last few years).

That is the sort of offense we need to be running.
I will have to see it in action. I am not firmly convinced that the promoted guys were just budding coaching stars held down by Moore.

Yea I don't think it guarantees anything, I'm just saying it makes some sense if you want to build an offense with the OL as the focal point.

Yep. I know Shawty (@Iamtdg made me do it) is kind of a boring pick, but going back and looking at highlights from Seattle back then, I liked what they did. It definitely was different from what we've done under Moore.

He ran an offense that resulted in Wilson's most productive years, not really sure why he gets so much blame.

His 1 year in Jacksonville is irrelevant, that was a dumpster fire from the start with Meyer.
