Yep.
Fucking Jerry. Always the salesman.

Exactly. He's being interviewed on the Ticket right now and he seems smart and very enthusiastic. Kind of fires you up just listening to him. None of the "too cool for school" or "I'm here to build a brand" type attitude. You could kinda tell from the very first PC that Taco was a bit of a space cadet, seemingly not that intense, head in the clouds. I tried to ignore it but as his career went on I kept thinking back to how much of a gump he seemed like early on.
This guy (and Parsons last year) are the opposite.
If the Cowboys wanted to trade Cooper during the draft, they could have, though it would have cost them all their cap space, Schultz , and maybe more players between then and the moment of the trade since Cooper was guaranteed his 20m salary in March. Can you imagine the phone call?
Cowboys- we are looking to maybe trade Cooper?
Browns - (chuckling) We’ll give you a fifth.
Cowboys - Done! ~hangs up phone, high fives all around~
Browns - WTF just happened.
Real deal, that number should be untouchable.
Maybe he can bring some honor back to it.Real deal, that number should be untouchable.
Yeah. I'm a little worried. Hated that #54 got abused but we made it through Antonio Bryant tarnishing #88.Real deal, that number should be untouchable.
We have 15.3 mil in cap space right now. Cooper still counts about 6 mil against our cap. So while it would be tight right this second, we could have absolutely held on to him (Knowing we would trade him during the draft or cut him later). If the Cowboys wanted to trade Cooper during the draft, they could have, though it would have cost them all their cap space, Schultz , and maybe more players between then and the moment of the trade since Cooper was guaranteed his 20m salary in March.
Also knowing there would be an early 1st round run at WR and that Cooper's value would potentially skyrocket would have taken quite a bit of foresight.
Then again maybe it wasn't WR value that jumped, but rather the perceived values of AJ and Hollywood Brown to their former college QB's.
In any case, it would have been a costly sequence of events.
Yeah but at least this kid isn't a D-bag. He wouldn't tarnish, he might just not live up to it. Antonio Bryant and Jaylon, those guys tarnished it.Yeah. I'm a little worried. Hated that #54 got abused but we made it through Antonio Bryant tarnishing #88.
Number 73 should never be given out. I'd have thought it was just temporary but I forgot about Looney.Real deal, that number should be untouchable.
sounds familiar.
Basically exactly what I posted in the other thread.

Did Stephen hack your account? They could have restructured him, they could have traded him for better than a ham sandwich, they could have not broadcast that they wanted rid of him at all cost.If the Cowboys wanted to trade Cooper during the draft, they could have, though it would have cost them all their cap space, Schultz , and maybe more players between then and the moment of the trade since Cooper was guaranteed his 20m salary in March.

No numbers are untouchable for the most part to Jones.Real deal, that number should be untouchable.
They do matter. There is a reason numbers get retired. No numbers are untouchable for the most part to Jones.
#22 shouldn't be worn. It is. #33 shouldn't be worn. It is.
Hey preys on sentimental fans who think numbers matter.
