Meta buries all of this in terms of service nobody reads. The product is marketed as a cool way to capture your life and interact with AI.
This is exactly why I don't use Facebook. The minute I saw the terms and conditions and saw what they wanted access to I was way way out.
I think anyone who trusts Facebook/ Meta / Zuckerberg is foolish.
