You know, I will never understand the backside pass rusher not covering the QB on these read options. Is it really that hard to understand? Like going against Dak, ok I get it, he basically never keeps the ball. But you're going against any of these other running QBs? How in the hell do you not respect the QB run. Perfect example here, if he covers the QB like he is supposed to he either makes a play or forces the handoff for a minimal gain. And I wish I could say this is just a Gary thing, but it's been a problem in Dallas for years. It's part of why mobile QB's eat our lunch.

And I also get super frustrated when I see Dallas run these plays, see the backside guy crashing the run and yet Dak still just won't keep it because we just do not run with Dak by design.

It's amazing how Lawrence, a guy with a very similar career and play style as Gary, goes to Seattle and looks great, making the Pro Bowl at 33.

A much younger Gary comes here and looks like warmed over shit.

Exactly. That was very close to "I'm a man, I'm 40!"

Maybe the players will feel bad for him and have his back, but around this fricking team, it's too easy for them to just sit back and let the coach take all the bullets while they stay in the background and collect checks.

I've been asking for this since we were still in that game vs the Ravens.

You look at that 4th quarter and Bell's mistakes are all over the place.

You can't have that blatant of a hole on your defense, especially at a position that carries so much responsibility with preventing big plays.

Put in the scrub 3rd corner and hope for the best and let Downs play S until we get healthier.

Maybe they have to shift gears with Downs and go that route. There isn’t anybody significant available that would be anything but a liability.

Yeah, that's a great question.

Given his poor the unit has been under his watch in 20 games as ST coordinator, I really want to know what it is they like about him.
