Sturm and the Ticket guys wondering the same thing. Three years playing ILB.
Apparently Brugler didn't like him that much though.

What? The guys that we won’t draft?~patiently waiting for Simp's top 14 prospects to track for tomorrow~
I would suppose it was a character thing that we do not know about yet.
That he is. He plays angry.Barham's highlights do look good, no matter where he's lined up. You want violent, he seems to have that.
If I had to guess we aren't really going to use him as a traditional ILB playing 60 snaps a game.
I bet the idea is to use him situationally in clear passing situations on disguised blitzes, with his value coming as a guy who can blitz/bring pressure better than most ILB's, but who won't embarrass himself in coverage like most pure edge rushers.

Soon even?In due time.
I think we wanted a big ILBer, sort of why Quay Walker was actually the LBer we offered more money to in free agency. Similar physical profile maybe to Zach Baun of the Eagles in terms of size and speed.
I could definitely see him being used like Baun who blitzed quite a bit and was also an edge/traditional LB tweener coming out that teams didn't really know what to do with.
Might take a year to get there but I could see him and Winters being in a bit of a timeshare a month or two into the season.
Let's not get crazy now.Maybe if the “GM” spent less time drinking, whoring, and praising himself on the radio, we may have done this years ago.
Sorry. I still pray for his death instead. We have a better chance of that happening sooner than the other.Let's not get crazy now.
