2026 Draft Week Chatter Thread...

Whether outside or inside, he’s a professional block-beater with the tools to stack or slip blocks, though his edge-setting needs work. His bend and reactive agility create unlikely tackle chances that few can find.

You all sure he isn't going to play off ball LBer for us as a thumper to compliment the coverage LBer we just traded for?

Yeah I just know Voch always sang praises about the guy being an off ball LBer and that's where he thought he looked best.
Sturm and the Ticket guys wondering the same thing. Three years playing ILB.

Apparently Brugler didn't like him that much though.

Or do we play him at ILBer where he played most his career?

He played more off ball than on the edge but I think he's a better fit on the edge.

Wouldn't be surprised if we see him playing as a traditional LB here and there though. Between the interest in Reese, this pick, and the interest in Harold Perkins Jr. I think Parker has a specific role in mind for these guys who are 3-4 ILB/OLB tweeners.

For the record, Barham isn't as big as Styles. And Styles is going to be an offball LBer. And Barham has played there before, so I hear. Not that I watch a lot of Michigan football. Maybe @Plan9Misfit can chime in a bit more on that.
