2026 Cowboys Draft Chatter Thread

Someone (maybe Broaddus) was saying that supposedly Bland doesn't want to play the slot anymore so if true that could be influencing things also.

Interesting, wouldn't surprise me if that were the case.

The more this all plays out the more it feels like a small trade up might be in play unless 2-3 of the top 6 defensive guys are all still available around 9/10.

If we could somehow do it while holding on to 92 that'd be amazing.

I'll say it again. I don't want to trade up for anything. The resources are short and the needs are long this year. Just sit still and let the draft come to you.

Pretty disappointed there was no "option quarterback" reference.

But there's still plenty of time for that.

Fun fact: The first time he told that story was after a loss to the San Diego Chargers in November of 2009.

I swear it seems like it has been his go-to longer than that.
I do not find that fun at all.

I do not find that fun at all.
It is not meant to be funny, young man.

It is a story about when Jerry Jones was 31 or 32 he had his credit card cut up in front of his very eyes.

From that moment forward, that public humiliation fueled the Wildcat in him and made him committed to financial responsibility.

To this day, that message resonates when his team faces tough times in Dallas.

He should know. He has lived them.

I feel like this leads directly into his glory hole story...
