One thing I didn't know until today, the kid sitting in the barber shop chair was played by Cuba Gooding, Jr.

How can their characters still be alive if they were like 80 when the first movie came out?
I assume it would be set right after the first one, which would make that point dumb. Eddie would still play the characters. Or is the sequel set in the future from the original one? I haven't looked into it.

Eddie still would play the old dudes. I'm still confused at the dumb idea they wouldn't still be in the movie.

it's present day. he's coming back to find his adult son.
Then I am still trying to figure out how you have issue with the barber shop people.
