Eagles vs. Cowboys odds, picks and trends: Expert predictions for Week 3 Monday Night Football

ARLINGTON, TX - AUGUST 18: Dak Prescott #4 of the Dallas Cowboys prepares to take on the Cincinnati Bengals during pregame warmup at AT&T Stadium on August 18, 2018 in Arlington, Texas. (Photo by Tom Pennington/Getty Images)

The Cowboys are a field goal away from 2-0 but have to be feeling good about how they’ve played to start the season. Dallas ranks seventh in rushing and passing yards per game and has a top-10 run defense to match. The Cowboys have topped 400 yards in their first two games, with Dak Prescott showing no signs of limitation from the ankle injury that claimed most of his 2020 season. Another standout from last week was Micah Parsons, who filled in for the injured DeMarcus Lawrence with eight pressures and a sack after moving to Lawrence’s EDGE spot. Dallas opened as a betting favorite for the first time this year — they’ve covered and won outright as the underdog — ahead of their Week 3 game against the Eagles.

Philadelphia dropped to 1-1 on the year but played San Francisco close last week. Jalen Hurts had 259 total yards with a rushing touchdown as the Eagles continue to commit to the run — they’re averaging 162 yards per game on the ground. The defense has also been imposing, allowing just 11.5 points and 283 yards per game. Dallas’ offense will be a good test for Nick Sirianni’s team. The Eagles are underdogs for a third straight week.

Great news on Cooper, don't give a shit about Wilson since Kearse looked more than capable filling in.
What a pleasant surprise this dude has been. We got lucky.
