If we're going WR I'll take Egbuka over Burden, assuming the top two are gone of course.
This is the problem with WR. You need a guy to step in and start from day one. If your waiting til the third/fourth/fifth for WR I almost don't know if I want to waste my time. You're just bringing in another Tolbert, Brooks or Mingo at that point.

It would be quite the achievement for this big dumb football organization somehow get to trade down in a draft like this.

We sit in the area that teams still have first round grades. I don't think it's crazy to think a team will want to move up.
If it materialized, it would be for one of the TEs, QBs or perhaps an OT like Banks and a trade down into the 20-22 range.

That would mean a three and an important four in return.

I would look at teams like Denver and the Chargers for the TEs and Pittsburgh for the QB.

I think the OTs will be more in demand than they should.

If we're moving down 10 spots in the middle of the 1st I'd want a 2, at the very least a 3 and 4 as you say.

They have had a good couple years.
Yeah and prior to that it was kind of guh. They also had a number of years where they basically didn't give a shit if they even had a draft pick.

I think their GM is great at the all in philosophy. But I'm not sure I look at them as the best in the biz at drafting.

Well that is what they think is their “secret sauce” since they survived a few drafts with no picks yet remained competitive in a bad division.

They will trade down and get a 4th. They always seem to get shafted when other teams pull off the same trade and get a 2nd or first next year or multiple picks.

If both are gone and we are in the 18-20 range I’m not mad if they take Egbuka.
I really like him. He's tagged as this low-ceiling guy and only a #2, but he looked pretty good to me, and against quality competition. He'd be perfect opposite CeeDee because he's such a level headed guy, too. CeeDee didn't test great either, and EE might be sort of similar (though not as good) in that he just knows how to play the game.

They did a nice job trading down in the first last year, netting Beebe with the extra 3.
