Giants fucked themselves for nothing.
Did they, tho?

Maybe if you’re thinking fucked out of a trade down. But if you’re thinking they’d just take Sanders, I’d consider that dodging a bullet. Or accidentally fucking yourself into a better player.

I'd say they fucked themselves out of the chance at an elite player. But if they are deadset on another mediocre QB I guess you're right.

How do you figure that? I think they still sit at 3 or 4, right? They're still getting an elite player. That player will be somebody out of Travis Hunter, Mason Graham, Mykel Williams, Abdul Carter. If they're lucky, both meh QBs will be gone, practically giving them their choice of the others. Like I said... "accidentally" having to settle for a superior player by losing out on Sanders.

They sit at 4.

Please be Mykel Williams, please be Mykel Williams. His 4 sacks all year will be devastating.

The Giants should be looking at this as a multi year project. Just take BPA all throughout the draft and accumulate good players. Don't force a QB when the options are shaky. That's how they got Daniel Jones. Worry about QB later when one makes more sense.

Yep. But you just know that if they had the 1st pick, they'd go QB. That's why I say they might have just saved their organization a lot of grief and actually end up with a good player by fucking up their draft position.

I guess they could still fuck it up by taking the other QB. And who knows...? Both the QBs could end up all pro. Or one of them could. But I'd bet mediocre starter is the ceiling for both of them. Just not impressed.

Whoever has the top pick should take Travis Hunter. To me he is the clear top guy in this draft.

And that’s why I’d be fine with them wasting yet another high draft pick on a QB. It would be even better if they coughed up multiple picks to trade up for one.

That's entirely possible now that the Patriots have the top pick. Unless they trade down with somebody that goes full retard and goes up to get one of the QBs.

It would be bad enough to burn the top pick on one. But could you imagine giving up other picks to do so? Ouch.

Well, sure. Being a division rival, I would love to see them shit all over themselves. I was only talking in a common sense scenario.

Louis Riddick before the playoff game saying that Jeanty reminds him most of Emmitt Smith.

Just saying.

Probably, won't change my opinion of him at all considering how obvious it is that Boise's lines are totally outmatched.
Yeah that guy is out there breaking 4 tackles to get a 3 yard gain. That's tough.

I like Singleton too for what it's worth.

Have you guys watched the Kansas back much? The one game I saw him I was pretty impressed. He has no long speed so he won't be great or get drafted high, but he had great vision and feel and really got every yard that was there.

Devin Neal? Probably a day three pick but he has some quicks and agility. Looks more explosive than you give him credit for. It's such a loaded RB class but he is a well built RB who I like as well. 5'11" 215 pounds is nice size and he looks really agile for that size.

Basically another guy I'd chalk up to as better than anyone on our current roster.

Yes, he has great instincts, feel, whatever to know when to make those subtle cuts. Not many backs have that.

Of course a back like an Achane doesn't have that but he has pure speed which is worth something in the NFL.

I guess my point was, he has skills like the vision and feel that won't show up at the combine. I hope you're right and he's faster than I remembered because I liked him.
