In the first? Not so sure there.
I think he's a legit 1st rounder, there's no chance he'll be there for us in the 2nd.

Like Walker I think he's more of a backup if we're picking in the 13-15 range, but I do think he warrants some consideration.

I think he is a really good player who is really up and down at times. I like him as a 3 tech so some depends on Osa. I think when he is used right he really flashes and dominates. When they use him like a space eater taking up two blocks, he gets destroyed. It's all about scheme and how you want to use him.

Which if I'm being honest it's hard to formulate draft plans or ideas until we even know what kind of defense we will be running. If we want to move to a 3-4 it sort of opens up different options. Like Nic Scourton? I hate him right now. He isn't good enough to be a full time 4-3 DE and he isn't big enough to be a DT. Now in a 3-4 he might be the perfect fit for a DE.

Jalon Walker, I'm not a big fan of. But if you want to play a 3-4 and make him an OLBer opposite Parsons? Now I start to see some of the thought process.

Of course my preference is guys like Harmon, I'm pretty sure he can play anywhere on the D-line. You go to a 3-4 and he can play any of the D-line positions and if you stay in a 4-3 I think he can play either DT spot. Mason Graham looks like a pipe dream now but he is another dude who I think you can stick out there and he can make an impact anywhere on the D-line.

Injury does not equate to need. Not having anyone at the position (RB, WR, OG, DE) equates to need.
Yeah, honestly just resign Lewis. Hopefully he wants to stay here. Guys getting hurt doesn't equate to it now suddenly being a need. If anything we have seen that you can scheme around guys like Amani Oruwariye.

It just continues to demonstrate how little these Twitter guys understand football and differentiating between actual need and situational challenges.

Even though I don't think CB is a big need by any means, I'd be willing to take one as high as the 2nd if they're the BPA (someone like Barron).

Depends on a number of factors though and I think it's a relatively unlikely scenario.

I'm not saying I wouldn't take one but only if it's actually the best player available. Like when we took Diggs in the second round. I wouldn't pass up the opportunity at a difference making DB. But I'm not viewing it as a must have either. But at this point we have so many needs, we might as well ignore needs in the draft.
