Yep, if we had a big need at CB I'd roll the dice on him but given that we're pretty solid there I wouldn't take a guy that thin in the first, lots of risk there.
Yeah, I actually am really high on Forbes. I'm just worried about a guy that size being blown out of screen plays. WR screens have become pretty common in the NFL. You need a corner who is going to defeat that block. At 166 pounds I'm afraid an offensive player could just pick him up and throw him. Even if he was just 180 I'd say well he can add 10 pounds and be ok. But 166 pounds at 6'1", even if he put on 10 pounds he would be really skinny.

I'm with you on not wanting a corner in the first. I just like the guys we have and don't see the need. But I do very much like guys like Forbes, Banks and Cam Smith. I'll leave off Witherspoon, Porter and Gonzales who I also love but know will be gone by our pick. Now if Porter, Gonzales or Witherspoon is there at 26 I might consider it.

Otherwise give me Darius Rush later. He killed it at the Senior Bowl. He is 6'2" with 33+ inch arms and ran a 4.36 forty. He literally fits the mold perfectly of a Dan Quinn corner. And where is he going? 3rd round or later?

Hell one more name for you at corner. Cory Trice, 6'3", over 32 inch arms and ran a 4.47 at the combine. (Replace one day three Purdue corner with another day three Purdue corner?)

This corner group is insane. Honestly if there were WR's with some of these height, length and speed combinations they would probably be high draft picks. But they are all at corner in this draft.

Where do you guys think Brents goes? I keep thinking we end up with him somehow.

It's so hard sometimes with these guys. My guess would be somewhere between the third round and the fifth round. But you could probably say that with a shit ton of corners in this draft.

Eh I have mediocre interest. Like it's a better stab than Washington was last year. But pencil the guy in for 10-12 ypc and maybe 700 yards. You aren't getting a real weapon. But you're at least ensuring that you don't have Noah Brown and Gallup as your primary targets when Lamb is double or triple teamed.
