I'm starting to come around to some of the second tier WR's.

I think you have sort of your first round WR's in Johnston, Addison, Smith-Njigba, Flowers and Hyatt. Put them in whatever order you want. But assuming we miss out on them it's the next group where I'm starting to find some guys I like. The Tillman's, Reed's, Perry's, Scott's, Mims's and Wilson's of the world. I have a hard time figuring out the order of these guys. There are a number of them I really like. Some I actually don't like as much such as Rice, Dell, Boutte and Downs. But I have no idea what order these guys will be drafted in.

I also feel like I need to go back and watch Ford-Wheaton. Guy put up silly good runs for a guy his size. 6'4" 220 pounds running a sub 4.4 forty. His stats were pedestrian at 675 yards receiving this past year. But in college football stats can be a bit deceiving. I want to watch some of him and see if he is just a guy who went under the radar or if he is just a track guy.
I think Downs would be one of my top choices in the second if available, if I knew he'd be around there I'd be more than comfortable going elsewhere in the first and ignoring it in FA. The issue is that we need an immediate impact guy and don't really have time to develop someone, so even though I'd like someone like Perry or Reed in the 3rd/4th, I question how much of an impact they're going to make in year 1.

If Stephen and the rest of these dullards don't fuck around this offseason we are probably going to be the favorite in the NFC, so I'm feeling more urgency than usual to get guys who can contribute immediately.

I look for Clark to progress too, but Cox is the mystery. So many folks were so excited about his abilities.
And it is looking like something is missing. I would not count on him for much.

even Joseph plays well on STs.
He's that guy who's gonna draw a flag at the worst time though...hot head.

I very much like both these guys a lot. Give me either and I'm happy.
I'm probably wrong, but with Pollard being more of a speed guy, I don't think they'll go for one of the (many) smaller RBs. I think they'll look for a bigger one to pair with him. Someone like these guys or Charbonnet.

There are a bunch of bigger guys in this draft that are great too. I think Pollard is pretty diverse so I'm not as worried about a specific type of back. Just a guy who can handle 10-15 carries a game. Small guys have advantages running inside too.

I think it’s no coincidence Pollard got hurt late in the year each time when Zeke was contributing zilch as anything but a pass defender.

He needs another weapon to gain the focus of the defense, and that weapon should be an every down back— because Tony ain’t no every down back.

Well and you need a capable second back. Injuries happen. Especially at the highest impact position on offense. It's why if you're hoping to split carries you probably should have 3 backs you think are capable. It's why I have no problem if we draft 2 RBs. Just like we did the year we took Pollard. The second back just needs to be a better choice than Weber was.

Without looking it up myself... Which of the realistic corners (not top half of the first guys) have the best ball skills? McCarthy has made a real point of wanting guys who can catch the football, not stonehands who can stay with their man.

Emmanuel Forbes but he's 166 lbs.

Some will disagree with me but Forbes has the best ball skills in this draft. He was insane. 14 ints in 3 years, 3 TD's last year. I saw some insane stat that he had more INT's than completions against him in man coverage. Just awesome ball production.

The problem is he weights 166 pounds at 6'1". Otherwise he has the height, he has the 32+ inch arm. He has the ball skills. I think he fits the Cowboys corner profile in every way, except he is real skinny.

hes a skinny puppy, but does he have 'length'?
Yep, if we had a big need at CB I'd roll the dice on him but given that we're pretty solid there I wouldn't take a guy that thin in the first, lots of risk there.
