Did they predict he would be fired? Good grief.I guess that means McCarthy is coming back. Another L for PFT.

They probably just advocated it, like this guyDid they predict he would be fired? Good grief.![]()

Maybe he is asking for and getting some distance from a few hires that he probably was convinced about. I also think the replacements will be on deals that are either a year or mirror what McCarthy’s contract dictates. That drives the process more than anything.Usually when this happens, the HC is trying to save his neck, but I don't think that's the case here.
Like ... Kellen?Maybe he is asking for and getting some distance from a few hires that he probably was convinced about.
What do you mean here? Convinced about?Maybe he is asking for and getting some distance from a few hires that he probably was convinced about.
Ugh,. If they are all internal promotions, we know Mike is toast and probably that Payton is on deck.I also think the replacements will be on deals that are either a year or mirror what McCarthy’s contract dictates. That drives the process more than anything.
I think there was dissatisfaction, and the non-renewal is kind of a gentler firing. While that's true, it's not like they can just not replace the OL coach, so you're going to have to pay somebody. Why not bring these guys back if you're not dissatisfied with them?
Like ... Kellen?

It is pretty rare they come out and straight fire a guy. Hell Garrett was still lurking in the office as we were interviewing.I think there was dissatisfaction, and the non-renewal is kind of a gentler firing.
It's probably unfair but it's probably an NFCC in 2023 or else it'll be Payton in 2024, assuming Payton can get the Saints to accept less than a 1.
We MUST get past the divisional playoff round. It's probably unfair but it's probably an NFCC in 2023 or else it'll be Payton in 2024, assuming Payton can get the Saints to accept less than a 1.
The Saints will have less leverage next year because it's the last year they'll be owed something if someone else hires Payton.
