2023 Cowboys Coaching Staff Thread

Assuming Payton sits out 2023 the Chargers will be the team to watch because they're basically our only real competition for him. If they do well next year, which probably means winning a playoff game, we could probably get the Saints to accept less in a trade since it'd be "now" or never given that next year is the last cycle they could get a pick for him.

I was expecting to see Durd on that list, our WR's were sketchy all year, he should be in Kellen's back pocket on the way out.

I'll try to add a few things:

Bunch of gobbledygook. Claims part of this is staff consolidation and change that they started implementing from the time he got here. Claims they starting doing things a lot different when he got here, some of this is a continuation of that.

Is Kellen coming back? I haven't met with him, just saw him for a second. (HE DIDN'T SAY YES!)

Dan? Met with him longer, that's why I was late, trying to find out what was going on with him.

Asked again about Kellen -- if he doesn't get a head coaching job somewhere, will he be back? I don't want to play that game right now. Just started the evaluation of the coaches. (SO YOU"RE TELLING ME THERE'S A CHANCE)

Says we aren't running the same thing Jason Garrett did. A lot of the language is the same for Dak, but we've evolved every year. Offense will continue to evolve next year.
