What is the point of making him a June 1 cut and saving more cap room this year?

We basically have 30 million in room right now and for what?

For Stephen to feel all warm and fuzzy about "flexibility"?

There are so many holes in this team they can draft BPA... forget about position.

Flex is kind of a big deal.

Field? Eh. But salary, oh boy.

Just think about it. When there is flex, there is less accountability. That guy is trying to learn something new.
Then they "develop", somehow. Then they get to participate into a corporate sponsored lifer program.

Take a guy like Noah Brown.

Lookit, I don't know the kid, okay?

I don't follow him on Twitter, Instagram or whatever.

But I can tell when a player is pushing it for the pension.

And he is first in line for the autocontracts we spit out at this stage in FA.

Well multiple problems with that. Gallup has a torn ACL and might not even be ready for the start of the season. Which tells me it's going to be awhile after that before he is his normal self. Schultz isn't a weapon. He is a guy who can find a soft zone but pretending like he is anything more than that in my opinion is silly. And Turner? The dude is a scrap heap guy who has never been anything in the NFL.

So yeah, right now it's Lamb and a bunch of meh or worse. I don't put that on the feet of Dak. I actually think Dak is a very good QB but dude isn't a miracle worker. We probably need to sign a guy and draft a guy high. And I kind of hope it's Will Fuller just to fuck with Iamtdg.
I didn't put it all on Dak.

Pass protection could be another cause.

Another issue would be if Lamb really isn't a #1.

I guess we will see on Lamb. I want to think he can be a #1 but I haven't seen it yet. I'm more worried about everything else. Gallup is hurt and we have no game breaking explosive player on offense outside of Pollard who we barely use.

Oh and third receiver is a goddamn mess. I still can't believe we did all this to help keep Schultz who is fine as like your fourth weapon but right now we need him to be elite Kelce type levels.

Everyone talks about the Cooper trade being the worst move but I sincerely think in the grand scheme that goes to the Schultz resigning/tag. A guy like OJ Howard puts up numbers as good as his or better in this O and would have come at a fraction of the price. Simply horrific

Agree completely, Schultz is Dak's last option when no one else is open. So ridiculous to pay him big $ while trading your WR1.

Take out Schultz 11, add back in the 18 mil we saved in Cooper and we still have 20 mil in space right now and I feel a hell of a lot better about our team right now. Plus we have another 10 mil or whatever coming June 1.

Letting him go for nothing is disturbing.....Steele is decent but, 10 million for a starting RT is peanuts on to today's NFL.....wonder what happened.

Teams laughed and Dallas decided they wanted 10 mil on June First instead of a draft pick. Lazy assholes basically.

we follow a pretty basic pattern here of putting posts in existing player specific threads. No willy nilly multi LaEl Collins threads. We pay for this shit.
You pay? I appreciate that.....

I do, and so do several others. And theres dedicated maintenance staff (Iam et al) who keep this place running. Their time and storage space are valuable.

If that's you're attitude....I can see why you don't have many members.....I've never had an issue contributing money to a site that I like....but this attitude is stupid.
