High of 33 in Philly on Saturday :skurred
Shit anyone who played at a reasonable level knows that is nice football weather. Been warm enough the ground won’t be ice cold and like concrete.

If I were the Eagles I would STUDY the Denver and Arizona games and mimic what those defenses did to fuck Dak up so badly.

I would then look how effective their own running game has been and was against Dallas in game 1 when they used it, and f'ing run the ball on us.

The Dallas team that won 6 in a row and covered 7 in a row is long gone. Dallas is now the team that can't, or often refuses to, run. Dallas is the one with the jittery QB that isn't processing the field before him.

This is a very different team, and one that is falling short vs. quality competition. Dallas can pummel the cream puff teams out there or those missing QB's, but they can't handle balanced, playoff-caliber teams.

If I'm Philly, I have a lot of hope to beat Dallas at home in the 26 degree cold with strong defense, solid running, and a few well placed throws from Jalen Hurts.

Dallas' strategy seems to be 1) Show up 2) Dominate. Well that doesn't actually work vs teams with a pulse. You kind of need a gameplan.

Built in excuse should we lose
The Cowboys were losing anyway.

I don't think either team will play their starters more than a half and the Eagles backup QB is much better than the Cowboys.

Plus I just get this sensation from the team that they are fresh out of resilience.

They looked limp and disinterested for most of the Cardinal game. It is like they shot their collective wad against the Redskins.

Well maybe he ain't sandbagging as much as used up all his shit.
I remember when I nitpicked about him showing the good stuff in blowout wins earlier in the season a lot of folks casually waved it off assuming Moore had tons of stuff like that up his sleeve.

This didn't happen in just the Cardinals game either. They played with the same casual WGAS attitude for most of the KC and Denver games as well.

I'm getting really tired of watching other teams come out with an aggressive, energetic mindset from the start while the Cowboys' temperament towards games closely resembles that seen in 4th preseason games.

I hate that it is one less game we get to see him and second, he's going to fall short of the rookie sack record.
I look at it on the bright side. Now he's not at risk of suffering an injury in a meaningless game right before the playoffs.

To be fair, this disposition is far more prevalent with the O versus the D though.

They have done their jobs pretty damn consistently the whole season and without the turnovers, the offense would be even more inept.

You're right about that. I should have specified that's it's the O that has looked bored and lethargic.

It's a combination of the passing game being forced to be patient, Elliott being stuck in the mud and I think Moore being conservative, if not out of ideas.

They need Pollard's juice in the running game and I hope they've been consciously saving him up a bit for the playoffs.
