Feh.

I like how he says, "quite a lot" but then includes plays where it was good coverage and/or Moore didn't win at all. Feels like this guy is just trying to be contrary.

I think plays 1 and 5 are the ones I feel like Diggs should have done better.

This was against a really good WR. I'd say Diggs did quite well. I don't think any CB is going to win every battle in today's NFL.

I'm not saying Diggs was perfect but to say he played poorly is just false.

No doubt about it.

On one play Parsons could have ended it quickly with a wrap up tackle instead of trying a killshot.

Then Diggs got picked trailing Moore across the field one time.

I'm not proclaiming Diggs a true shutdown corner, but there's no reason to hate on him.

Moore is a great WR, and I'm glad we have a CB who isn't afraid of that competition. Lots of them have talked the game in recent years, but it was always false bravado.

The hate comes along with the media attention that he's getting right now. I suppose our only option is to...embrace it?

Moore barely ever beat Diggs in Man coverage, except for the rub crosser that took him all the way across the field, but there aren't many CB's who are going to carry a WR horizontally across literally the entire width of the field and stop the completion.

You could argue Diggs should've gotten there sooner to limit the run after the catch, but aside from that Moore didn't hit any big plays against him.

The one where he broke the tackle across the middle and ran to about the 10 was Cover-3 I'm fairly sure and Moore running a Dig 10 yards downfield across the middle isn't exactly on Diggs as an outside CB in Cover-3.

My only complaint is that he was a hair early and I think that technically could be an offensive PI. But those aren't called often.
You should see the shit the Rams have been getting away with, most of their offense is predicated on rub routes and they're getting away with way worse downfield than a block on a WR screen that's half a second before the WR catches the ball.

Love his comments.

Yes, the refs do act like they're blind and so many of their missed calls are inexcusable.

Again, how does a ref who is struggling to pull the ball away from a defender at the end of a game not think he should throw a flag for delay of game?

He's literally keeping the ball away from even you! :lol

I would love to hear his explanation on that, but of course, we'll never get it.
Anyone figure out why Dalton Schultz got called for that 1st quarter (opening or second drive) offensive interference that wiped out a Noah Brown catch?

Schultz was getting bump & run’d by his defender and wasn’t close at all to touching Brown’s defender, let alone offensive PI

Yeah the refs let a lot of that stuff go so it's not a big complaint. And if you're late to the block you get beat.

Prescott is the better QB but Murray is the better athlete. In terms of pure passing and manipulating a defense it's Dak easily in my mind.
Without a shadow of a doubt Prescott is the better passer. Murray's playmaking ability though surpasses anything Prescott is capable of with his feet. I think Murray has a higher upside but I'd rather have Prescott now for sure.
