It's not true according to spotrac so he didn't fact check either.Spell check much, Florio?

Hate to keep doing this, but they haven't been close to a SB in 25 years. So their chances of getting to a SB have essentially been 'crippled' for that long. They kept Garrett on as HC for 10 of those years, which crippled their chances as well. Dumb and dumber running the organization cripples their chances by default.Yea, but that's for ONE year, not 35 mill for 4 or 5.
If he doesn't improve or imagine he actually takes a step back and you owe him 90 million more? That is going to damn near cripple their chances of getting to the SB in the near future.
Because for the first time since 2006, they have a real coaching staff.Hate to keep doing this, but they haven't been close to a SB in 25 years. What difference would it make it they guessed wrong on Dak's contract? Why would the near future be any different than the last quarter century?
That's true. But if Dak is not a franchise QB, or even a legit QB, what difference does a legit coaching staff make? Finding replacement QBs is a hit or miss thing, more miss than hit.Because for the first time since 2006, they have a real coaching staff.
So just as they had a legit window to win something then, I believe they have a legit window to win something now.
And we know that the Jones' never hire legit coaches in succession, so whenever McCarthy leaves, they'll find the next puppet to take over. So right now, we need the Cowboys to do all they can to take advantage of this window.
Jerry might be dead the next time we are hiring a HC, so let's hope that changes something. I honestly believe that Garrett would've been fired after 2017 if not for Jerry, maybe even after 2018 too.Because for the first time since 2006, they have a real coaching staff.

Any idiot can see Dak is a legit QB. It's just a question of how good he can be. Certainly a legit coaching staff could win a Superbowl with him. But there are never guarantees. That's true. You're giving Stephen too much credit.Jerry might be dead the next time we are hiring a HC, so let's hope that changes something. I honestly believe that Garrett would've been fired after 2017 if not for Jerry, maybe even after 2018 too.
Maybe, I think Garrett used his personal relationship with Jerry to blow smoke up his ass and save himself after each season, which is why you saw such dramatic changes made to the offensive coaching staff after both seasons. You're giving Stephen too much credit.
I don't think we have seen Dak's ceiling yet, to be honest. I think McCarthy could very well do wonders for Dak.Any idiot can see Dak is a legit QB. It's just a question of how good he can be. Certainly a legit coaching staff could win a Superbowl with him. But there are never guarantees.
I hope this is a thing of the past with McCarthy. Daks ability as a runner can be exploited much more fully. The misuse of Dak's ability to run is a travesty. He can throw the ball, the biggest issue has been how consistently
Of course he’s legit.Any idiot can see Dak is a legit QB. It's just a question of how good he can be. Certainly a legit coaching staff could win a Superbowl with him. But there are never guarantees.
I agree for the most part. Dak has a little way to go to be a member of elite Quarterbacks in the NFL. His read needs to improve especially on the timing of his release. He still throws a little late on the tight coverages. He hasn’t gotten the anticipated spot to throw to down yet. It’s his weakest point in the passing game. He tends to wait for the receiver to get open then makes the throw. This part of the passing game is what separates the good from the elite.Of course he’s legit.
He’s not a franchise QB.
Maybe that’s OK at the moment. Looking around the league, there aren’t many of those left.
Wilson, Brady, and Mahomes for sure. We’re talking two of the last three Super Bowl champs with all three carrying their teams this year. Sad to see Tom stripped down to no supporting cast or OL. Just sad.
Aaron Rodgers, Ben Roethlisberger, and Drew Brees could still be if they catch good health and the right opponents during the playoffs.
Jackson is really, really close to breaking through. Already a league MVP, carries his team... but choked in the playoffs losing to a team he had no business losing to.
Deshaun Watson is in the neighborhood though also hasn’t yet arrived. Get this man some more weapons and most importantly some actual coaching. He’s got his own Garrett situation. Stafford is in exactly the same boat, except he has even fewer weapons than Watson. He was surging before his injury.
Don’t trust Ryan Tannehill. At all, no matter what stats say. Matt Ryan is on his way down.
Dak has a loaded offense. It’s a disgusting wealth of options one TE away from being historically talented.
He had an average defense and no coaching. Supposedly the coaching has improved (it has to).
This is from PFF: “Prescott ranked among the middle class of quarterbacks in PFF grading in 2017 and 2018, and his 2019 campaign showed that the right supporting cast could lead to high-end production from mid-tier signal-callers.” I think that nailed it.
So the question is does he stay mid-tier or climb some rungs. From what I’ve seen, there’s fewer rungs to climb.
I've said this many times before, but his worst throw by far is to the inside.I agree for the most part. Dak has a little way to go to be a member of elite Quarterbacks in the NFL. Brady, Brees, Rodgers, and Mahomes all go without saying.Of course he’s legit.

I don't see it.I'd definitely take Wilson over Dak but I also think Dak could get close to Wilson's level over the next 2-3 years, at least as far as individual play.
Guys like Watson, Jackson, Stafford, Ryan, etc. are tossups for me, and in most cases I'd lean Dak.
I take Dak over the guys you listed. I agree on Wilson. Shoot in the NFC is may be Wilson and Rogers at the end of his career and then Dak is right there. I forgot about Drew Brees but he is another one who probably has a year or two left at best. IF you put a team and coaching staff around Dak we should be one of the best in the NFC for awhile.I'd definitely take Wilson over Dak but I also think Dak could get close to Wilson's level over the next 2-3 years, at least as far as individual play.
