Forget slipping in the draft. A few more meaningless wins and Fatso might get an extension. :picard

As someone said before, he's not getting an extension unless the team goes on a miracle run and not only makes the playoffs but wins a game or two. And if that happens he'll deserve a new contract.

The defense has been solid for several games now (relatively) and that's why we won primarily, along with Rush finally playing decently. I also think the Quinn factor added some extra juice for the defense.

Add in that we had 2 kickoff return touchdowns without which we probably don't win.

@Simpleton Have you or anyone else watched Bass and Hoffman's games closely? They must have been pretty good as well as the OL played, but I wasn't paying attention to them specifically.

Sure although one of those was irrelevant.

In the game of "who played better if not for anomalous shit" I think we pretty significantly outplayed them.

Before the game started to get wild when it was 13-9 early in the 4th you could argue that we should've been up at least 19-7 (assuming we make both short FG's, which nullifies the first FG they got off the block, and assuming they make their first missed XP).

This wasn't a game where we got outplayed and just had a bunch of flukey shit happen to win. We thoroughly outplayed them for about 3.5 quarters until things got nutty.

I was watching Guyton live but I'll watch Bass tonight because why not, at first glance I think they both played well given how we ran decently and avoided much pressure up the middle.

That's true but those returns (especially Turpin's) saved us from the dumb shit that we often do (like give up a monumentally busted play that went like 80 yards that should have tied the game in the final minute) that costs us wins.

Still scratching my head about that last 86 yard TD. That was about as stupid a mistake on D as I’ve seen in years for Dallas.

And it’s a travesty that we found a way to win.
Nah, fuck that.

I would have been perfectly fine with them losing in what is already a lost season, but I can never ever be upset with beating any rival/team I hate.

Redskins, Eagles, Giants, 49ers, Packers, Steelers, etc.

There's no way I can't enjoy ever beating any of those fucks.

I generally agree but winning yesterday was even sweeter because of how these dumbass Skins fans have convinced themselves that this is the beginning of some sort of golden era with a superstar QB.

I never bought into that of course, but I'm sure these morons were expecting a huge win yesterday against a team missing about 10 starters after watching their shit team get bulldozed by us for about 15 years, and instead they got to watch their sweet little QB play like a drunken sailor for 3.5 quarters.

I wouldn't have been upset by any means with a loss, but if I had to pick one game to win the rest of the year it probably would've been yesterday.

We had other games where he barely played and we still didn't run for squat so this isn't about Zeke. They all suck including Dowdle.
Luepke is a keeper, but they should flush the rest.

It's like once his orbit is synced up you know what I mean?
Owning makes to make himself sound smart by saying things like that. Drives me nuts.
