Watched the Mazi all-22 to see if it matched the eye test during the live game and it mostly did.
If anybody has the ability to go back and watch it, check out the very first offensive play of the game for the Skins. Mazi forklifted Biadasz about 2-3 yards into the backfield, knocked him directly into the path of the RB, and Osa cleaned it up for the TFL.
That goes down as a TFL for Osa but Mazi 1000% made the play.
He wasn't dominant overall by any means but he looked like a guy who can credibly play starter snaps as a 2-down run stuffer. Did a nice job holding his ground vs. combos and doubles, and often it was him vs. Biadasz and one of the OG's. While Biadasz certainly isn't elite, he's a legitimate starting center and if Mazi can play someone like that even or win slightly more than he loses, it's a win.
It could just be a "broken clock is right twice a day" situation but it does provide hope moving forward, and at the very least I think we can count on him as a decent backup NT.
