Well in all fairness Zimmer didn't draft him so I'm not sure he had an affinity for the guy. I think he was drafted the year before Zimmer took over in Minnesota. And obviously his career wasn't good.

I was just saying I remember wanting him in the draft, that's all. And I was wrong, OK???

Honestly DL coach is the only one I'm particularly worried about.

They could just promote Harris to the entire secondary and then just bring in whomever for assistant DL and assistant secondary.

His track record seems a little flimsy to me.

I don't know much about him but I remember him as a "meat and potatoes" roleplayer type back in the day so maybe he'll bring that mentality to the DL.

I worry he's had a ridiculous bounty of talent and will be coming into a very different situation in Dallas. Probably unfounded concern.

Yep, it's a no-brainer, he was one of Zimmer's top assistants throughout his time in Cincinnati and had some very good defenses as the DC himself once Zimmer went to Minnesota.

I think him being the "run game coordinator" shows where Zimmer's mind is.
