It's telling that Zimmer, who drafted Floyd, seemingly didn't try to keep him.
I don't know much about the guy but I don't really consider this a loss. I am ready for Zimmer to do something though. Pretty soon he is going to have like two assistant coaches. Al Harris and that turd LBer coach that no one wants. I want him to build this defensive staff the way he wants it but he needs to get moving on it.
I think he struggled to see what he did here. Plus, Floyd made a choice too.

Well in all fairness Zimmer didn't draft him so I'm not sure he had an affinity for the guy. I think he was drafted the year before Zimmer took over in Minnesota. And obviously his career wasn't good.

Zimmer took over head coach in 2014, I think Floyd was drafted 2013. Please correct me if wrong.
