Can't remember if this was the thread where we were talking about schools usurping parental rights to affirm a child's gender and then not disclose it to the parents but I found this story. After the mother found out what was happening and refused to recognize the child's new identity-which the school pressured her into- she was placed in foster care and ended up killing herself.
