No, it's not. I didn't see the pic before. Could have some Lab blood, but the coloring looks more like a border collie, although it's too short hair to be a full border collie. Probably a mixture of at least two different breeds. My guess would be border collie and something like a vizsla. It has the same type of face,ears, and coat of a vizsla, but not the coloring of a border collie. VIzsla's have a similar body type to a lab, just not quite as big and muscular. It also explains the temperament, as they both have good amounts of energy. Also, if this is it's line, both are very intelligent.

Still very much a puppy. Expect some setbacks, but it will get better.

Make sure everyone is on the same page with training this dog. Using same commands, knowing what is expected of the dog, etc...

And while it's fun when a puppy is wrestling with the kids, make sure not to let it get out of hand. The dog has to understand it's place in the pack. If you let it show dominance over anybody at any time, it will think that's the norm and will expect it to continue. Most dogs that snap at kids are not bad dogs, and are only acting naturally when their space is infringed upon by somebody they think they're dominant to. For example, it's fine to play tug of war with them with a towel, rope, or whatever. But make sure at the end of the game, you are the one that ends up with the toy. You can give it to them after, but don't let them jerk it from you and keep it. And don't let them become food aggressive. If he growls when somebody gets near their dish, tell them no firmly and take the dish for a minute or two before giving it back. That's probably the #1 reason people get bitten by a family pet.

Thanks for the tips.

This dude is totally unaggressive about everything. He's just a big, clumsy and excitable. He beat you my 10 year old daughter pretty bad. She has bruises all over because he is tremendously mouthy. It is like he tries to stop himself but he forgets within seconds. She has started to shy away from playing with him, which honestly is a good thing. She tends to pester anyway so I'd rather her just steer clear. My 15 year old son is extremely patient and calm (which is what we've taught all the kids to be around him) and loves being with the dog. It is mostly him, my wife and I doing the work with him. He really can be good at times but just needs work and patience I suppose.

Last night was the first time that he was with me watching a movie where he laid calmy on the couch. I have a room upstairs that is strictly mine where I hang out. It has an old leather couch and doesn't have anything special in it other than my TV so I'm trying to teach him that it is a calm place. I couldn't believe how calm he was last night.

If the whole goal was to keep your wife happy and occupied you could have saved yourself a lot of trouble by just getting her a vibrator instead of a puppy. :art
 
This dog loves to hide dead frogs and retrieve them every time he goes outside.

The transgender bathroom deal is confusing. I'm trying to wrap my head around why this has to happen. And I'm not even talking about someone's feelings and how someone identifies.

Why is there such a push to make this happen?

Has there been an increase of transgender people being attacked for going into the wrong restroom?

The same thing has occurred to.me. Why the sudden push to enter opposite sex restrooms? I can't recall hearing about this until recently. I concluded it was an attention push since gay marriage has been addressed. It's probably another agenda movement.
