Maybe some day. Tumbleweeds are pretty sweet
We do have a lot of tumbleweeds to be sure.

You've never been that far west in Texas, or that far west period?
Thinking about it, Sea World San Antonio might be the furthest West I've ever been. That's weird, right?
You can drive to the West side of Katy and see the sprawl growing in real time. It is kind of awe inspiring and terrifying at the same time
Well, coming from Austin, it would be quite a culture shock to say the least. IT's not bad, though. Very friendly people, which I'm spoiled to, and any time I go on the road it seems like people are rude as hell.
And, yes, we finally came of age when they made it legal to buy alcohol at a package store in the city limits. Before that you had to go out the "The Strip" outside of town. Place looked like a mini Las Vegas.![]()

Period. And I've lived entirely in Texas, Arkansas and Oklahoma my entire life. I've been as far as Austria to the East, but I've never traveled West I guess.

When I was there you had to go to a place called Leveland. Not sure about spelling.
Well, g'day, mate!
Damn, you guys need to get out west! Colorado, California, the Pacific Northwest, Vegas...
I have never been to Wyoming/Montana area though. Was supposed to go to Yellowstone when I was a teenager but we had to change plans because it was on fire. Would like to get out there someday. I may end up settling in the Pacific Northwest when my daughters are well into their 20s and I sell my house in Austin, so that would be a good opportunity to visit that area.
My avatar smiles at your post.
Have your avatars smile at me. I have been to Australlia.
Yeah, there are some cool places out west. I especially loved Boulder when I was there. I get to go to Portland this next year, which I think will be really cool.
Okay?

Boulder is absolutely gorgeous. My sister lived there for 9 years before she moved into Denver so I have spent a lot of time out there. I usually still go up there and spend a day during most of my trips to Denver.
Portland is a great city. Love it. Seattle too. That whole part of the country is beautiful.
K Brown made a good de mate joke about Austria (European Continent) so I tried to land you on the real continent. I hate explaining jokes.![]()
