I have Amazon prime access due to a membership affiliation and can access it on my computers but not on my TV. My TV is a smart TV but not set up for an Amazon app. Is there a device that will make it available via the Wi Fi method?

Yes, you can buy a Roku. It's just a slongbox you hook up to your TV. They aren't very expensive. Like 30 bucks.
