Prospects Dallas Has Shown Interest In - 2026

I put that exact trade in, and was also able to get 146. Ok, so I may have homer picked the last two. Still good picks, tho. (at least I didn't take NDSU WR Bryce Lance at 92. Thought about it, tho.)

Getting Big Citrus at 92 makes me happy.

I stopped reading after that.

As I have said, if that happens, I will defile this place.

Your disgusting debauchery aside, that draft would be a fucking homerun. Top to bottom.

Even throwing out my homer picks, I loved the Tristan Leigh and Jalen Farmer picks. I think both of those guys are going to be solid pros.

I still think we'd get starters in the 2nd/3rd. Partially because there will still be very good LB/CB/S available. And also because our defense is such thin shit.

This is exactly right. Plus the "lower value" positions just feel easier to fill in those rounds. Specifically safety and LBer. You may get the second or third best LBer in the second round. You may get the second or third best safety in the second round. You'll never get that at pass rusher for example. Higher valued positions are just harder to find starters at the later you go in the draft. But you want a starting LBer, Safety or RB, I think most years I can find you a guy in those rounds.

Also, I thought about taking Hill at 39 there just to squash Cotton's dreams a bit.

:unsure
Yeah I was wondering why you weren't acting like yourself.

Anybody feel like the Cowboys are doing way more dinners then any previous years? Like we took Texas AM players to dinner the night before their pro day. Is this a strategy to get to know guys? Like are we trying to befriend all the draft prospects for down the road? Just kind of interesting but we seem to be taking everyone out to dinner.

Seems like a good way to just get to know these players in a more relaxed setting.

It is Schottenheimer’s kid. He has a lot of energy, doesn’t he?

It is charming in a way now.
