NFL Nostalgia Thread…

I don’t recall a single Mel Gray TD against us but I guess that was just a tad before my time. I don’t remember specific touchdowns by opponents in 92 other than in the biggest games.

Geez, I barely remember that and I'm a lot older than you...

I'm guessing you are remembering a different Mel Gray. This is probably the one that played for the Cardinals in the 70s and 80s. You're probably remembering the one from the Lions (different guy).

Shit I forgot about that. I remember waiting anxiously to get the cowboys score every ten minutes.
I'll do you one better.

I remember having to wait until 19 and 49 minutes into each hour to get MLB and NBA scores on CNN Headline News.

"I'm Van Earl Wright. For CNN Headline Sports" is engrained into my brain forever.

:lol

Yup, that's exactly it.

When I saw that, the first thing I thought was....."Why do I not remember this? That's a hell of a lot of touchdowns against us for a guy that was pretty much a return specialist".

Brees-- clear cut first ballot on every ballot
Larry-- dominant, 2nd all time in both receptions and receiving yards
Witten-- ditto, 17 year career, multi-year all pro, 4th in all time receptions, 2nd all time TE, missed one f'ing game

That's the list
