I don't get why Ward keeps making that list. Hall of Pretty Good, but shouldn't even have his name mentioned for Canton. This is getting ridiculous.

Gosh what a mediocre QB who will get in because of post season success. I can't help but remember how retarded he looked at times and thinking this dude doesn't belong anywhere near the HOF. But ultimately winning more than one Superbowl at QB is sort of rare air. Especially doing it against Brady.

It's funny the way that in a team sport where 22 guys are starters plus 3 specialists, the QB still gets all the credit or blame for a teams success or failure. Winning two Superbowls at QB is all Eli needs to get in. Even if he was a stumbling around idiot for most of those seasons.

Not gonna lie, that dude made some insane plays during both runs and across many regular season games in between

He often needed to be behind or under pressure, but he delivered a lot of crazy throws.

Strange that he's prolly going to hit the minimum number of great games a guy has to have to get into the HOF

I hate this argument. The defense held Brady to 15.5 points per SB. It’d be more accurate to say Nick Foles out dueled Brady.

Furthermore, if beating a GOAT twice is HOF-worthy, why doesn’t Coughlin get HOF consideration for beating Belichick twice

Manning’s SB wins standup enough by themselves. It doesn’t need to be further recognized with the HOF. Otherwise, Jalen Hurts would be a Butker FG from being a HOFer with beating Mahomes twice

I think Eli probably belongs unfortunately. His stats aren't good enough, but his postseasons put him in. You can't really tell the story of the NFL without him.
