By the way, Sixers Reddit looooooove McCain but they overrate almost everyone on the team. He's a nice player, maybe, with untapped potential. He needs consistent minutes.

Now that I see the deal it's not actually that much for him. That Rockets 1st won't be high.

He was a mid first so a late first plus a few seconds for him sounds about right considering he hasn't established himself much yet (he had a nice run for a couple months last season on a bad team).

Im pretty sure that Rockets pick will be the last pick of every round

I'm shocked they got that much for him.

He's better than he's played but he's had some injuries and has been trying to play himself back into shape.

Good shooter who has struggled to get into a groove this year, in part because they have a bunch of guards ahead of him. Once they drafted Edgecombe, McCain became expendable.

I kind of figured it was someone they had been enamored with during that draft cycle.

Probably. He could improve their shooting and I'm sure that's how they'll use him but I can't imagine he'll get a ton of minutes on OKC either. And he's kind of bad defensively.

Whether this is a good trade or not for the Mavericks is irrelevant.

You should look at this as what they got for Luca, which is beyond horrible.

While it's true that was a horrible trade, they can't undo that now.

This seems like a good deal for Davis.

Davis is a boat anchor at this point. Damn they got lucky with the draft and Flagg. Otherwise they would be pure shit.
Flagg is starting to look like something the NBA hasn't seen in a white in maybe ever.

He's way more explosive than Bird and not near the shooting range.

True but then I'm not sure what you mean by something the NBA hasn't seen in a white. I thought you meant overall dominance.
