Then again Ruben Amaro is a complete moron and gets raped on almost every trade.

They should've made the deal with Yanks at July deadline. Better prospect and Yanks pick up salary.
 
Well there goes that. Blowing an effing 3-0 lead in 7th giving up 7. Pettitte was cruising and the two first guys get on and Girardi takes him out and bullpen implodes. Joba really, really sucks. Interesting to see who picks him up in FA this offseason.
 
Pressley went 3-4 with an RBI and a run scored today in his first game with the Twins.


I think it's pretty obvious the Twins pwn'd the Pirates in that trade.
 
Feliz finally saw the mound again for the Rangers. Struck out 2 in an inning of work. Could b a nice bullpen add as we move on this season.

I said awhile back that I wished the Rangers could have traded for Billy Hamilton. Back when he was having a rough go at AAA. Now it looks to be impossible.

I said the same. I wanted to trade Hellickson for him in a both buy low kind of situation. I still hope they dump him this offseason to someone.

What a frustrating game. Probably the worst outing I've ever seen from Darvish and the Rays can't do anything with it.

Arizona asked them in advance to please not celebrate on their field. The Dodgers are all "F you, we're gonna pee in your pool!". Probably not real classy but I like this kind of behavior on occasion, especially given that it was against a division rival.
