MLB Chatter Thread

:lol

I along with the Rangers have had a resurgance. Not giving up (again) despite the odds.

There's definitely a shot for the Rangers. Over their 8 game win streak they have gained .5 games on Houston, so 16 more 8 game win streaks and they'll be right there.

YOU SHUT YOUR GOD DAMN MOUTH!!!

I will remind you that two or three seasons ago it was the same thing. We shall see how it ends.

Since his call up, Jose Berrios has 2 starts. 2-0 0.59 ERA 15.1 innings 4 H 2 BB 15 SO

Walter Johnson reincarnated, or Cy Young? I can't decide.

Kuechel to the DL. Thanks Ed for bringing up injuries. Rangers picked up another game.

Fun fact: The MLB spends approximately $5.5 million on baseballs every year.

Ervin Santana with a 2 hit shutout, as the Twins have taken the first two in Baltimore.

Good starting pitching for the most part this year. This feels weird...

Keuchel's replacement pitched us to a shutout win, and we're about to pick that game back up.

The simplest explanation is that the baseball gods were giving me a slap on the wrist for my posts above.

As well they should have.

Hopefully I will jinx him.....

Chris Sale will set a mlb record today with most consecutive starts with at least 10 strikeouts. Congrats.

As much as this year is a dumpster fire...Conforto is a stud. I hate that it took this long for Collins to let him go, but he is playing great and when Cespedes comes back...maybe we make a little run.

Baltimore had the best home record in the league. The Twins roll into town and bring the brooms.

Oh yeah.

:towel

Their start is very surprising to me. They are another team that has been building and has some talent but I didn't think they had the pitching to compete. Ultimately over the long haul of the season I still don't think they probably do, but they are getting it done right now. Ervin Santana is going to turn back into a pumpkin very soon. He isn't nearly this good.

I took closer Brandon Kintzler very late in my FBB draft. All the analysts said there was no way he was going to hold onto that job and maybe he'll crater, but he has been outstanding in that role going back to last season, despite not having "closer stuff".

Confarto is the truth. Man can that guy rake.
