I really don't know what you guys were expecting. You can only out-hit the opposition for so long. Texas only ever seems to take pitching seriously in small doses. They got to the WS with an average rotation and good backend and tried to F with the formula instead of adding to it. That ruined your stud closer and made a bigger mess. They added Yu, but then though they could just get by with one ace. Then they finally realize he isn't an ace and trade for an aging ace.I don't want to fully say that I have given up on the season but its hard to be optimistic with the way they are playing. I thought that we would have one more year of division title chasing before the crumble but looks like the team crapped on that idea.
All the while, you have all these great prospects that do nothing but waste talent in the minors and then have little to no value once they come up like Profar. How about being smart and trading those guys early for legit pitching? That question feels like a broken record when it comes to the Rangers.
