Anybody subscribe to MLB tv ? Is it worth it?

Yes and yes, absolutely. Huge catch is that you can only get out of market games. That works very well for me as a Cubs fan living in Texas, but my family in Illinois can't get them, just as I can't get Rangers or Astros games because they are part of our local TV market. It is pretty awesome to be able to watch any game besides in-market games though and more than worth it if you can get your favorite team's games.

This might be exactly what I'm looking for then. I just moved to Atlanta and have been trying to watch the Rangers. Didn't want to have to get the MLB package.

It's great. You can watch the games live, of course, but they also archive them so you can go back and watch whenever. They generally offer a price break around mid-season where you get a pretty good deal for the rest of the season if you decide to pick it up later on. Being able to watch on mobile devices is really nice too. You also get MLB Audio with it and there are no blackout rules with that so you can listen to any radio feed of any game. I started subscribing to that in 2006 for $20/year and it worth every penny. I still use that feature some even having MLB TV, for instance if the Cubs are playing a day game while I am working I can just stream the radio broadcast on my phone.

Sweet! Never looked into this since I lived in Dallas. Thanks for the info. I'll be signing up shortly.

In early to mid-June they've always offered a huge price for Father's Day if you want to wait a few weeks. The last few years it has been $50 if you can wait until then.

And it's not like you are missing good Ranger baseball.

Glad you're enjoying it. It is an awesome product.

Goodnight Irene

I don't want to fully say that I have given up on the season but its hard to be optimistic with the way they are playing. I thought that we would have one more year of division title chasing before the crumble but looks like the team crapped on that idea.
