Padres better win. They gave up quite a bit today.

Aaaand, the Twins sent Willie Castro to the Cubs.

Gonna be glorious watching the AAAA Twins finish up the season.

As much as this massive fire sale has sucked, if it works it might be for the greater good.

The Pohlad family, the worst owner in MLB has been trying to sell the team. If this makes it possible, then I'm ok with it.

I just hope the future owner doesn't want to move the team.

I was hoping the Braves would unload some dead weight by the deadline.

Ozzie Albies, Sean Murphy, and Michael Harris are three guys I'd have been fine moving on from. Those guys have been subpar at the plate the past 2 seasons. The smart move is to move on from them while they still have some value.

A small sample of how ass the Braves bullpen has been this season.

Top the 8th inning vs the Reds they scored 8 runs to take an 11-3 lead. Bottom of the 8th inning they give up 8 runs and allow the Reds to tie the game 11-11.

After today's flurry of trades, the Twins have sent 10 roster players packing. The owner said a week ago that they were leaning towards being BUYERS at the deadline. Guess they changed his mind. :lol

SS Carlos Correa, RP Jhoan Duran, RP Griffin Jax, RP Louie Varland, RP Brock Stewart, RP Danny Coulombe, SP Chris Paddack, UTL Willi Castro, OF Harrison Bader, 1B Ty France. The Twins had one of the better bullpens in the league, and they completely GUTTED it. Absolutely hate losing Duran, Jax, and Varland. All young with multiple years of team control left on their contracts.

Congratulations to Jhoan Duran, Carlos Correa, Harrison Bader, Willi Castro, Danny Coulombe, Ty France, Louis Varland, Brock Stewart, Chris Paddack, and Griffin Jax on their recent promotions to serious teams.

:lol

This was the leading paragraph in the story announcing all the Twins' trades. On the official team site. Somebody is getting fired. :lol

Reds listed under losers on ESPN trade evaluations. Said they traded for a guy who hits like a 1970s shortstop. :lol Also traded for a pitcher that’s given up most home runs in the league for their tiny ball park. Dumb af

Twins called up 8 players from AAA to fill out the roster for today's game. :lol
  • RHP Travis Adams
  • RHP Pierson Ohl
  • RHP Jose Ureña
  • RHP Erasmo Ramirez
  • INF Edouard Julien
  • INF Ryan Fitzgerald
  • OF Alan Roden
  • UTIL Austin Martin
These guys are sure to strike fear in the Cleveland Indians tonight.

The Twins' bullpen, which lost its five best players, looks something like this:
  • Cole Sands
  • Justin Topa
  • Michael Tonkin
  • Kody Funderburk (LHP)
  • Pierson Ohl
  • Erasmo Ramirez
  • Jose Ureña
  • Travis Adams
  • Noah Davis
It is almost certainly the worst bullpen in Major League Baseball. Two days ago, the Twins had one of the best bullpens in the league. That's what happens when you trade your top five relievers.

Almost as gay as those uniforms...

If I live to be a hundred, I'll never understand what he was thinking. He has to know about the infield fly rule by now. Has to.
