Is there a run rule in MLB?

:unsure

No, it's cause I don't personally think they'll last. They swept the Rays, but only by getting to our 2 worst pitchers who are both on a horrendous string of starts right now. When they faced Price, they were domnated. They'll see a lot more pitching like him in the playoffs.

Ha, yes they were dominated by Price, but too bad he could only go 7 innings and a major league game is 9. Then your shat bullpen coughed up a 6 run lead, including 4 in the ninth to lose 7-6. They swept you. You're going to have to beat the Kershaw's and the Greinke's of the world to win a World Series. At least your team will have a shot though.

The few times that I have watched Price its been the same thing. 6 innings and then counts too high. Don't know if that's how its always been with him but it seems to be the case when he faces Texas.

I will have a better handle on what kind of chances Texas has during September when the schedule gets rougher. Right now its hard to tell when you are going up against the Astros, White Sox, and Twins......

Last night Price went 5 innings which is his lowest game total since coming off the DL. Most night's he goes 7 or 8 and has 3 complete games in that span. Earlier in his career 6 would be about the amount he would go because he wasted too many pitches. He's become much more economical now and he's getting outs without setting up and going for the k each time.

As for the Dodgers, the BP shit the bed that night but they aren't as bad as they showed then either. Besides, they also got to face Hernandez who will be sent to the pen or DFA'd once Moore comes back and Hellickson who may not even be on the playoff rotation. If they had to face Price, Moore and Cobb or Archer in those 3 games, the outcomes were probably different. Those pitchers don't offer up a 3 or 4 run lead from the start.

Yes, those guys vs Kershaw, Greinke and Ryu would be a better series. I still like the Dodgers chances though. Kemp will be back soon, too.

They will have to settle for Bobby

David Ortiz says Dempster shouldn't have hit Arod.

Shut up David. You just dont want to get hit.

I can't explain why, but apparently Chris Archer pwns the Yankees. He's now made 3 starts against them this year and dominated in each one.

Conversely, Kuroda has been knocked around by the Rays a bunch this year despite his impressive stats.

Kuroda and every other Asian pitcher own the Rangers. Thankfully we dont have to face Yu. He would probably strike out 20.

Sucks when you can't hit a frickin 10th grader.
ill be honest, if Archer wasn't a Ray I'd probably hate him. The way he hops off the mound, pumps his fists and then walks with swag back to the dugout would get under my skin quickly.

But he is a Ray, so I like it.

Rangers now 3.5 up over A's. Thank you Baltimore! Perez had me worried early and then straightened out a bit. Not bad for the Rookie.
