That's what it is. Emmitt doesn't have the spectacular highlights, which is what younger people go on. But he wasn't spectacular even in his day. Just incredibly efficient. And incredibly durable.

We've talked about it many times, but for some strange reason Emmitt looked much quicker in person. Don't know why, but with him it just didn't translate through the TV screen.

Probably his vision, being able to kind of navigate small creases because you can see it a tick faster than everyone is hard to notice on TV within the first 3-4 yards because it's usually just a mass of bodies.
 
I told this dumb Packer fan at work that this wasn't a gimme for the Packers. Not that the Falcons are any good, but more that the Packers are going to be really bad this year.
