I mean, Carter seems to be doing just fine in basically the same system. I don't buy it's not a fit for Williams.
Would you give up a late round pick for Marvin Harrison Jr?
1. We need a receiver??Would you give up a late round pick for Marvin Harrison Jr?
When my son was about 15 and my daughter 7, I took them to a meet the Cowboys signing thing. It was after the second SB win.It was about 10 degrees out. Waited outside for 30 minutes to get in.Neither kid complained.Got inside and they had some former players like Too tall and Novacek. Got Enmity a autograph and next was Moose. I had a moose figure from my recent Canada trip which he laughed at and signed. Might be a collectors item someday. The kids had a ball.Fuck those onions. In all seriousness, that's an awesome story, brother. Something you two will share forever. God damn, I have gotten sappy since I quit drinking. I don't know what's going on. I have turned into a fucking woman. Hug those you love because you never know when it might be your last chance;.
I want to stay away from children of former greats. They almost always bust.
and Mr. SurtainJoey Porter Jr. is very upset with you.

I did say almost. Of course there are going to be a few but for every 1 you name I can rattle off 5 to 10 others that didnt.
Show me TEH SPLASH PLAYZ!oneone!I just saw Caleb Downs' stats. Holy shit. 17 tackles, 1 sack, and 2 forced fumbles. I knew he was doing very well, but that's incredible. And, yes, I have watched the games, Smitty. I just didn't realize he had been that good, I guess.
He looks like he has checked out. Look that way of you want to try to fix a WR.I mean I was mostly just joking. I don't hold it against a player if their parent was a great NFL player but I don't really hold it in high esteem either. I don't think it's so much a physical talent thing. But I do think some of these kids whose parents were professional athletes just don't have that Dog mentality in them. Marvin Harrison Jr. is just sort of another example of that. I just don't know that he really has that mentality of doing whatever it takes to succeed that his father probably had.
Miles Austin played his high school ball in the town next door to me in NJ … same high school as Wayne Chrebet tooSo I took my youngest son to the opener in Dallas in '07 vs the Giants along with my best friend and his son. My son was just about to turn 13. We were outside the Marriott the night before the game watching the players park their cars and walk in, some of them walked over to the crowd and signed autographs, (Miles Austin was one that made sure he signed everyone's item). I had bought my son one of those Cowboys footballs with the autograph panels on it so he could get some if he wanted.
Anyway, my son went off on his own and got probably 15 or so players' autographs while my buddy and I went and sat on the grass. He comes over and shows me the football covered with autographs and I tell him, "That's awesome, kiddo... something you'll be able to keep forever." He looks at me and says, "I didn't get these for me, I got them for you." Oh man, it was everything I could do to not get embarrassingly emotional right then and there.
No way could I do this. My wife would know Dak and, well, Dak.
