I don't know if he's cut out to be a MLB who directs players where they need to be, but I think he's a much better fit there from a physicality standpoint than slender, fragile as glass Overshown is.
Ideally, we have a true middle linebacker that had both the size and the smarts to play that role for us (Anthony Hill Jr., anybody?) and Overshown would play the WILL and Barham the SAM or opposite ILB which is the ideal position for each respective guy.
But because we inexplicably didn't put enough effort to improving a serious position of need, we're having to ask guys to play in positions that aren't ideal for them and hoping it works out.
