It is more dependent on the run game. I'd say we are less dependent on the RB himself though. It's why Malik Davis was able to even look respectable going over 100 yards in a game last year. It's part of why you invested so much on the interior of the O-line.

What you'd miss about a guy like Jevonte probably has more to do with blitz pickup than actually running the ball.

I guess I'm just getting old, but these young names like Jonah make me think the person is a young kid when I see the name.

I too have fallen victim for the age thing but let's be honest.

These guys are far more short term versus long term commodities anymore.

I'm just going to say it, and people can rake me all they want, but I think Height will be better than Methusidor.

It's not about longevity as much as it is about upside. A 25 year olds body is pretty well maxed out. Unless the guy comes in and lights the world on fire at 25 years old I start to wonder if he can really become something greater. It also seems a bit unfair for a 25 year old to be out there going against 19 year old kids. Might explain why these guys didn't really pop until their mid twenties.

But hey I don't know, I do like Mesidor and I do like Height. I just hate putting all my pass rushing eggs in the basket of guys who are still 2 years older than EZ.

At this stage, they could blow up and then they become Parsons-lite or something.

I am over the Cowboys for Life thing. That is over.

There becomes a point when you start looking at pro careers differently.

I wouldn't bank on a 25 year old ever being better than they are today. They are already in their prime.

Physically maybe. But it's pretty hard for me to believe that a player wouldn't improve with professional training, coaching, dedication, and experience, just because he's 25.
