Yea I was saying it in reference to Bain, the long part in particular.

I know, I hope we aren't returning to the, just find guys who are tall, long armed and fast. I've gotten pretty sick of that strategy.

Parker has made moves and said things that make me think we aren't doing that strategy but if a scout is saying that's the direction of the team it's concerning to me. Parker says he just wants football players. But then again he traded away Osa because he isn't "big enough".

He is kind of doubling down on the move up scenario.

I would be shocked if we gave up 20 without getting back a pick in the 30's or early 40's, so I'm not overly worried about the possibility of us trading up to 3.

I think the absolute most they'd give up is something like 12/20/92 and maybe next year's 3 for 3/34.

That'd still be a bit too much for my taste but I'm not overly concerned about turning 12 and 20 into 3 and only 3.

Schrager's latest and final...

Has us taking Delane at 9 and Lawrence at 29.

That's like a worst case scenario for us, but, (1) I believe it because it's Schrager, and (2) there are rumors we don't love Bain so we wouldn't want to sit tight and take him.

I'd like that way better if it was for Downs.

Decent conversation. Wolchuk is one of the few local guys I respect. Not that he's some savant, but he puts the time and thought into it without having a huge ego like Broaddus.

Not to say this is a definite philosophy or we won’t draft Bain, but there’s an interview with Parker from about a month ago on 105.3 The Fan where he specifically insinuates that short arms are a problem.

His comment starts around the 14:30 mark
